SCFAD events update

The latest SCFAD event for members and supporters was an in-person reflective workshop at Glasgow University on the 13 April 2026 following the defeat of Liam McArthur’s Bill: see the report on the News page.

The Scottish Parliament election on 7 May 2026 means that many new MSPs will be elected: we would encourage everyone to ask their candidates (e.g. at hustings or by email) whether they would be inclined to support fresh legislation on assisted dying in the new Parliament (2026-31).  You may wish to stress many Christians are in favour of such legislation (with appropriate safeguards).
